Taylor Zuccolotto is the Senior Director of Project Finance at Sunrun, where he leads the execution of tax equity and structured credit transactions supporting the deployment of residential solar and storage systems across 27 states. As Sunrun continues to be at the forefront of financial innovation in the distributed energy space, Taylor led many of the industry’s first-of-its-kind transactions, including complex tax equity, debt, tax credit transactions. In addition to deal execution, Taylor leads Sunrun’s tax credit buyer outreach efforts, where the company has successfully transacted more than $4.2 billion in ITC transfers since 2023.
Taylor’s experience in renewable energy finance spans over 12 years with a focus on capital raising and structured finance across solar and storage asset classes. This marks his second tenure at Sunrun; during his initial five years with the company, he was a member of the team that raised more than $2 billion in capital to Sunrun’s growth into the largest residential solar and storage developer in the nation. His background also includes serving as Vice President of Capital Markets at Valta Energy and Senior Director of Capital Markets for Sunnova Energy, where he led the tax equity and asset-backed securitization groups. Taylor began his career in leveraged finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he developed a foundation in financial analysis and deal structuring. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Southern California.
