Alice Lin has been at the NRDC as a Senior Advisor in Tax since 2025. Alice most recently served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Legislative Affairs (Tax & Budget) for the Treasury Department. In this role, she advised senior Treasury officials and executed legislative strategy and engagement across all tax policy issues, ranging from international tax to implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act. She previously was a Senior Tax Policy Advisor for the Senate Finance Committee and a Budget and Tax Policy Advisor for the House Ways and Means, where she was the lead House staffer responsible for developing and writing the energy tax provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act. She also previously held roles for the Joint Economic Committee and for Rep. Mike Honda (CA-17).
