He's worked with leading developers like Sol Systems, Goldman Sachs Renewable Power, and Summit Ridge Energy, witnessing firsthand the inefficiencies of traditional solar. Driven by a vision of harmonious solar deployment alongside thriving agricultural communities, Miles founded Okovate to develop projects in-house and consult with others on agrivoltaics. He is a former Rodman Scholar (University of Virginia, B.S. Environmental Science & Engineering Business minor), holds a certificate in Financing and Deploying Clean Energy from Yale, and serves on the Colorado Agrivoltaics Learning Center (CALC) and Ridley Scholarship boards.
