Arthur Haubenstock brings more than three decades of experience delivering innovative, robust solutions to complex energy and environmental law and policy challenges, including deploying major infrastructure projects and negotiating multistakeholder agreements on transmission, permitting, and market reform. He currently leads global regulatory law on energy, trade, and export control issues for Equinix, Inc. Previously, Arthur held senior roles in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains and across multiple energy-sector organizations, including Pacific Gas and Electric Company; innovative fuel cell, solar, and storage companies; and energy trade associations. He has advised governments, utilities, developers, financiers, foundations, and other energy-sector stakeholders, providing guidance across virtually every aspect of the power system—from energy efficiency, demand management, and distributed energy resources to utility-scale generation, storage, transmission, markets, and permitting. Arthur has taught energy law and policy at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and frequently serves as a guest lecturer.
