Dave Rardin is the Manager of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs for PJM Interconnection. With 14 years of policy experience in both public and private sector roles, he works daily with decisionmakers and stakeholders in both the U.S. Congress and Virgina to help ensure the electric grid of today and tomorrow remains reliable and resilient. Prior to joining PJM, Dave was the Director of Federal Affairs for Apex Clean Energy where he helped support the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects across the United States. He has worked briefly for the Utilities Technology Council in support of rural broadband deployment and utility telecommunication issues. Dave started his career as a congressional staffer, with a focus on energy policy, and serving most recently as the Legislative Director for an Ohio member of Congress who sat on the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee.
